About Adding a Category
The Contract module is probably the most important part of Book-It 2000.  With so many features and functions it may seem a little overwhelming at first, but once you get the basic flow you will be adding contracts quickly in no time.  Below we have how to add a contract with some tips and FYI's.  You can also view the view for a quick guide through.

 1. Go to Utility
 2. Click on Operational Control Record

 3. The OCR will open up.

 4. Go to Categories

 5. Then choose which Category you would like to add to. (We'll use Artist for this example.)

 6. A box will appear with the categories.

 7. You do not have to delete a category, instead you can edit it.
 8. Go to the one you wish to change, and put your cursor in the name.

 9. Then you can start typing the new category name you wish.
10. Then for the two-digit acronym place your cursor there and change it.
11. To Add a new category scroll down to the bottom of the listing.

12. Put your cursor in the white blank line next to the *.

13. Then start entering the new category.
14. Then go the CAT and enter in the two-digit acronym.

15. A new blank line will appear below the one you are adding.
16. When you're finished with your new category put your cursor on the blank line.

17. You've successfully added a new category!
